why do people build extreme positions to argue against? on lambda last night someone made an off-hand comment about uml. i posted saying that i thought it was useful. my comments received two replies. one saying yes, but not always necessary, and the other saying it wasn't the one true way.

and metafilter slides forever downhill.

maybe it is time for old-school mailing lists to make a comeback? :o)
