Before you get all excited (asuming this is new to you), Croquet has been
"almost ready" for several millenia.  And looking at the info in the talk
it doesn't seem like the kind of thing that should take Terry Winograd (if
you don't know who he is, look for some old papaers on good ol' fashioned
AI) and a bunch of other apparently brilliant people forever to write. 
Especially if the software they're using is so much more spiffy than the
rubbish people use nowadays.  But what do I know?  I'm from the TV
generation, apparently (see the talk).

(Alan Kay recently got a prize for being very brilliant, so I'm sure he's
right, really).
