Chaitin Texts and Blog Replies

Rebuilding the site with replies (see the link below - email a message and
it will appear in the same page) I saw a previous post on Chaitin and
decided to check out his site again.

I ended up reading the text for a book of his (or, at least, skimming the
first few chapters). It's heavy going, but if you want to give it a go...

http://www.cs.auckland.ac.nz/CDMTCS/chaitin/cup.pdf

His site is at http://www.cs.auckland.ac.nz/CDMTCS/chaitin/ and, while
it's not explained anywhere, it seems that the book titles all go to
downloads. So all his books seem to be available.

If you've not met Chaitin before see the into at
http://plus.maths.org/issue37/features/omega/

Incidentally, I've changed the file naming scheme to make email addresses
more manageable. That means that any previous bookmarks are broken.
Since the site has been up only a day I hope that's not too cuased much
inconvenience for anyone.

The source download has the latest changes.
