Eight stories on Obama [...] censored from the Guardian, Observer, Telegraph and New Statesman

http://wikileaks.org/wiki/Eight_stories_on_Obama_linked_billionaire_Nadhmi_Auchi_censored_from_the_Guardian%2C_Observer%2C_Telegraph_and_New_Statesman

Most are from 2003 (you need to download the zip file from wikileaks and
open it - it contains PDFs of various censored web pages), but some (from
the New Statesman and Telegraph) are from 2008 (they refer to the 2003
articles and Index on Censorship awards).

They seem to relate to the apparently corrupt activities of Nadhmi Auchi
who is also "one of Britain's richest men" and are from before a trial in
which he was convicted of fraud.

Why is this recent news? Well according to wikipedia -
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nadhmi_Auchi - he's now involved with Tony
Rezko, a Chicago businessman, who was convicted on corruption charges, and
who in turn is connected to Obama (and there may be a more direct
connection - funding of Obama's election campaign via a shady company that
happens to have Auchi's wife on the board).

Here's a WSJ article with more details -
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122005063234084813.html (scroll down past
the Ayers crap):

"Last April, the London Times revealed that Nadhmi Auchi, an
Iraqi-born billionaire living in London, had loaned Mr. Rezko
$3.5 million three weeks before the day the sale of the house
and lot closed in June 2005. Mr. Auchi's office notes he was a
business partner of Rezko but says he had "no involvement in or
knowledge of" the property sale. But in April 2004 he did
attend a dinner party in his honor at Rezko's Chicago home.
Mr. Obama also attended, and according to one guest, toasted
Mr. Auchi. Later that year, Mr. Auchi came under criminal
investigation as part of a U.S. probe of the corrupt issuance
  of cell-phone licenses in Iraq."
