Running Times

[This should become a regularly updated thread to keep track of my best
times for various routes].

Santiago West:
N from the house to the river. West along the river to the park. Back
East along Yanez(?).
I just knocked over a minute off my best time (prev 26:07), down to 24:59.
Late Nov, 8:30 start, worried it would be too warm, but felt good, hit no
traffic (Sunday), and held on at the end.

La Serena South:
South from the flat out past Quatro Esquinas; West a block and back North.
Current best time 32:27

Santiago West, 24:52

Sunday again. Pushed hard at end, but otherwise normal. Seems like
Sunday traffic makes a big difference. Still, nice to back at this form
after not running so much with a cold. 24:52.

Slower, but doing the distance

From: "andrew cooke" <andrew@...>

It's blurring into memory, but the stress of Tololo near the end, some bad
colds, and a few other problems really hit my running. Distance dropped
and today is the first time in months that I've completed the west route
(prev best time 24:52). Time was 26:53, but I was running very carefully
to make sure I did the distance.
