Everything has a new, simple style, based on the Muli font, loaded from Google
- http://www.google.com/webfonts/specimen/Muli - and the Blueprint reset and
grid - http://blueprintcss.org/

The same style is carried across to the blog pages (fairly easy to do as it's
generated from a mail archive using a home-rolled static templating engine):

I've moved a lot of content off the front page, which is now intended more as
a portfolio of my work.  Continuing with the portfolio idea, I am including
links to new content that describe projects I have worked on, to try show what
I do even when the results are behind closed doors.

The portfolio pages are still in development, but are based around Pandoc -
each page is written in markdown, with a template that adds the needed style.
One example currently works - http://www.acooke.org/portfolio/lepl

Looking to the future, changing the style again will still require editing
multiple pages.  To avoid this I'd like to move more content to Pandoc /
Markdown.  But changing the blog engine will be a fair amount of work, and
this approach isn't really flexible enough for link-heavy, structured pages
like the main page.  There, it would be nice if all the CSS was at least in a
single file - but that (apparently) slows page loading...
