mapocho 1890

mapocoho is the name of the main river running though santiago. it's also the name of a street that runs parallel to the river, close to the city centre.

from a series of photographs taken around santiago. this isn't a neutral, representative view of the city. i am a relatively wealthy immigrant in a city that is largely divided by social class.
