to the east of the city, but still fairly central, is providencia - a fairly wealthy established area. south of the river is a commercial area and higher denity housing (i live in a flat there); the north bank, where this was taken, is lower density. most of the buildings here are now used as offices.
from a series of photographs taken around santiago. this isn't a neutral, representative view of the city. i am a relatively wealthy immigrant in a city that is largely divided by social class.
