Strange Moderation at BB

OK, I know asking for consistency at BB is pretty silly, but this seems
just weird.

Take a look at this thread -

If you look at the discussion comments start out bland, then someone comes
in fighting, then things seem to even out into a a "I find it offensive"
or "I don't so I'll make a joke" thing that's looking like it could hit
some kind of resolution.

Then the moderator steps in and stops one side with the "no repetition rule".

Which means that all subsequent comments are one-sided.  The thread goes
from something that raises (interesting) questions (my first reaction was
that the object was disturbing rather than "entertaining" or "sexist") to
a bunch o laffs.

As I said - weird.  It comes off very much as "don't criticise us" and
"don't think".  Which, as I also said, probably doesn't surprise anyone
much at BB.  Still, sad, I guess.
