## Pastamore - Bad Italian in Vitacura

The waiter seated us then forgot about us.

Eventually we asked for a menu. Turns out there's no wine (at an Italian
restaurant!) - it's BYOB. The waiter said he "could" give me a glass of wine,
but that it was illegal. And sounded really uncomfortable about it. So why
make the offer?

Anyway, for only $2000 you can have a can of coke. And there's a small and unexciting selection of pasta and gnocci. We both ordered fettucine putanesca. It was slow to arrive. When it did, the waiter said he'd bring cheese and then forgot about us. The putanesca sauce was very salty, but otherwise OK. The pasta seemed to be frshe, but nothing special - the kind of thing you can buy in a supermarket as "fresh pasta".$9000 or so for average pasta?! \$2000 for a can of coke? In a kind of
makeshift hut on a patio with paper napkins?

I have no idea why it is so popular.
