Pot luck

OK, things seem to be working. So here's a bunch more links I had noted
down:

Automated sniper detection using acoustics -
http://www.isis.vanderbilt.edu/projects/nest/applications.html

Context free grammar is fractals -
http://www.ozonehouse.com/ContextFree/index.html

Related to that, the Wikipedia entry on L-systems -
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L-systems

Sad/amusing/worrying interview with "hacker" -
http://www.guardian.co.uk/weekend/story/0,3605,1523143,00.html

Leo (what is this, exactly? some kind of literate programming tool, or
something hugely general that will save the world?) -
http://webpages.charter.net/edreamleo/WhatIsLeo.html

This link currently dead, but I must have bookmarked it for a reason.
Perhaps it will return -
http://www.lecielestbleu.com/media/pateasonframe.htm

Way oversold AI in New Scientist -
http://www.newscientist.com/article.ns?id=dn7674

Lego Turing machine -
http://mapageweb.umontreal.ca/cousined/lego/5-Machines/Turing/Turing.html

Related to that last link, I just finished "Turing (a novel about
computation)". It was actually pretty good. Better than I hoped - the
best description of death (what it is like to die) I have ever read. I
have comments in my diary, but there are still "problems" there, so it's
not been published yet. Sorry.

Cheers,
Andrew
